The annual Early Childhood Inclusion (ECI) Summer Institute is a unique event that is not available anywhere else in Oregon. With the College of Education's Early Childhood Program at WOU hosting, the Summer Institute promises to be exciting event that will draw families, preservice and practicing teachers, as well as service providers from around the state to join in the conversation.
Summer Institute participants will have the opportunity to stay on campus and make use of the dining hall. In addition, several social events are being arranged to further engage everyone, both on the WOU campus and with the Monmouth community.
We are also partnering with local and statewide early childhood organizations, as well as others to create a quality event that encourage everyone to come back year after year. Summer Institute participants will be able to get professional development units (PDU's), certificates for the Oregon Registry or choose undergraduate credit for an additional fee. In order to have lots of fun and build community, Games, social media contests, scavenger hunts, picnics, and music in the park will be included in the schedule. Join us, you will not want to miss out!
